KING SHIH ARCHITECTS
KSA was established by Gene K. King and Erin C. Shih in 1999. Based in Taipei, the studio office has completed design of convention center, athletic and event facilities, courthouse, commercial and office buildings, library and laboratories for education institutions, commercial and industrial facilities while also involved in historic building adaptation and museum planning. The spectrum also ranges from landscape, interior to ceramic design and public art.
An architect is both a design professional and a humanist. KSA’s expertise is not restricted to building type or scale. Every project is equipped with typological expertise while exploring factors of people, time, and place to develop a specific solution for the design. Building details and complex design issues are solved with personal touch.
An architecture building is an investment of global and social resources, and therefore imbued with civic values. KSA provides design themes that respond to the people, the time, and the place to bring forth rich dimensions in physical as well as spiritual aspects in architecture.
